How Integration Works

Integrating Lava Build requires minimal code changes. You only need to:

1. Change the base URL — Point your AI API calls to Lava's proxy endpoint instead of the provider directly
2. Add an authorization header — Include your Lava forward token for authentication

That's it. Your existing code, SDKs, and prompts stay exactly the same. Lava handles provider-specific authentication, streams responses back in real time, and meters every token.
